Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-24
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how XIMO (ximo.tv and the iOS app) collects, uses, stores, and shares information, and how you can refuse non-essential cookies. It applies together with the Terms of Use and the Cookie Notice. The Service is only for people who are at least 18, or older where the age of majority is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
2. Information we collect
Account data (email, name, avatar, and Sign in with Apple or Google tokens you authorize). Transaction data (xi coin balance, unlocks, deposits, and provider transaction IDs; we do not store full card numbers). Usage data (watch progress, favorites, comments, device and app version, and security logs such as IP and unusual sign-ins). Support and report messages you send. We do not run identity-document checks unless a payout or the law later requires it and we say so.
3. How we use information
To operate accounts, playback, virtual goods, support, security, age gating, product improvement, and legal compliance. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and third-party advertising
Essential cookies keep you signed in and support security, language, age confirmation, and invite attribution. They cannot be switched off. If you allow them, we or our providers may use functional cookies to remember preferences and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. Third-party advertising partners, including ad networks and their advertisers, may place cookies on the browsers of visitors when you allow targeting cookies, in order to deliver and measure ads. You can accept all, keep essential cookies only, or choose categories in the cookie prompt or at https://ximo.tv/cookies. If you refuse targeting cookies, we will not enable the corresponding non-essential cookies for advertising. You may still see content that is not tailored to you. Blocking cookies in the browser may stop sign-in or playback from working.
5. Sharing
We share information only as needed with Apple (sign-in and In-App Purchase), Google if you choose Google sign-in, cloud storage and CDN providers for media, the payment provider you choose on the website, and advertising partners when you allow targeting cookies. Those parties process data under their own policies. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or in a corporate transaction such as a merger.
6. Retention, security, and your rights
Servers and media may be outside your country. We retain data while your account is active, then delete or anonymize it after deletion, except records we must keep by law. We use HTTPS and access controls. You may access and update profile data and request deletion in the app (Me → Feedback, write “delete my account”) or by emailing [email protected] from your registered address. We typically complete verified deletion within 15 days. You can withdraw Apple or Google permission in system settings, which may stop that sign-in method from working. To refuse non-essential cookies, use section 4.
7. Children and updates
The Service includes adult content and is not directed at children. Contact [email protected] if you believe a minor provided data and we will delete it. Updates will be posted at https://ximo.tv/privacy. Significant changes will be notified in the product or by email. Contact: [email protected]. Last updated: 24 October 2026.
